Donatello's Valentine Chapter 1

                    CHAPTER 1

    I was in my lab as I was sitting down, looking at the present I made for April.
    I was feeling nervous as I looked at it and closed my eyes, breathing in and out sense today was valentine's and I was going to tell April how I felt about her.
   I heard what sounded like her as I then started to stand up. I went to the door of my lab, as I slightly opened it seeing April there talking to my brothers as she smiled.
    I smiled and blushed as i went out of my lab and went over, as I heard April talking to Mikey. " how about next time I come over I will bring the new batman game and we both will play."
     Mikey got exited as he went off to the tv sense he had a show about to start. I stood by her as I cleared my throat lightly. " Oh hey Donnie."
    I looked at my present for her, then i hesitated but then handed it to her. " what's this?"
   As she asked that she started opening it, when I spoke nervously. " it's a v-valentine present for you..."
    Once I said that April looked at me surprised and looked at what I made her, that was a watch that would connect to her computer if she needed to do somthing on there. " uh thanks Donnie..."
    I blushed and put a hand on the back of my head, as I chuckled. " I figured it would help you."
    She looked back at the watch as she looked sad at me. " Im sorry Donnie... but we... I cant be with you like that..."
    I looked worried as i let my hand go of my back neck, as I lost my smile and blush. " Donnie... you are a mutant... and I'm a human... it's not right. Besides I'm with Casey know..."
    I looked shocked at her works as anger started to consume me. April placed a hand in my shoulder as i looked down, but I shoved it away and yelled to her before I ran out with a coat and hat. " you could have just said said you don't like me!"
    As I was in the sewers I went to a ladder getting the hat and caout on. As I got out the man hole i then closed the man hole cover.
   I headed left and a few miles sense I had this bar I would go to every holiday, like this one. As I got to the door I opened it and saw my human friend Nate. He was a bartender and is the only one here that knew I was a mutated ninja fighting turtle.
    " Hey nate..." I said coming over sitting down, as he came over and spoke. " Hey Don how are you today?"
    I looked at him a little as I got my bow staff leaning in the side of the counter, then back down as i felt heart broken. " It could go better... I told April about my feelings..."
    " How did she take it?" He asked as he got my usual drink witch was only shots of fireball. " She says we can't be together because I'm a mutant..."
    Nate looked sad as he said to me with a little down tone. " I'm sorry Donnie... but like others say there is better fish in the sea."
    I grabbed the shot glass as i slightly swirled it a little, as I said low leaning back on the seat. " yeah I guess..."
    Nate looked over to the others as he spoke before leaving. " I will be back."
    As he left I looked at my shot glass a little more, then took it to my mouth drinked it as I tilted my head back a little so it would go down my throat faster.
    I then placed the glass down and looked behind myself looking at a few people here, as then one caught my attention.
    She had her brown hair in a slight messy bun, as her blue like eyes was looking my way. But as she was walking I noticed her purple dress, that was sleeveless and stopped a little passed her knees. It also had a slit on her left side where her left leg would come throw the slit of her dress when walking.
    But as she got closer I turned back blushing at how she looked. She came to my side, she then spoke in a calm relaxing vice. " is this seat taken?"
    I looked at her slightly so she could not see my green skin or even the way my face figure looked. "No..."
    She smiled and sat down next to me as she spoke up to get Nates attention. " Nate can I get a glass of water?"
   " Sure!" He said as he was almost all the other way of the bar. I then looked slightly at her as she was looking a little ahead of herself, I saw her body figure making me blush.
    " what's your name?" I heard her asked as i looked up at her as she smiled at me. " D-Donatello..."
    She looked at me and kept her smile as she said. " that's a nice name."
    I blushed a little and looked ahead if myself as Nate came over as he handed her water over to her. " Thanks Nate."
    He nod his head as he came over to me. " another?"
   I nod as i looked at her. " What's your name?"
    " Sandra. " She said as she then started drinking her water, when Nate landed my shot glass infront of me. " It's pretty..."
   Sandra looked at me as i widened my eyes as i looked at her a little, with a red face. " I mean uh... your dress. No! Your uh man..." I said putting a hand on my face, i heard a giggle coming from Sandra. So I looked over to her with my hand over my face as she spoke. " your cute Donatello."
    That made me blush more red as my green skin could get. Then Nate came over as Sandra finished her water. " Sandra they want you one more time before you leave."
    She nod as he left and I asked. " what do you do?"
    She looked at me and smiked. " I entertain others."
    My eyes widened as I looked at her forgetting to hide my face, as I started having images of Sandra on a man's lap flirting with them.
    But I heard Sandra as if she could see my eyes widened, but not my face as she corrected my images. " I entertain in singing."
    I signed and felt so embarrassed at my out mind. " I'm so sorry... my mind is not working today..."
    I heard a giggle again, I looked at Sandra. " It's okay it's probably from all that fireball."
   I blushed as she got up and started for the little stage, while I watched her walk over to it.
    My mind was probably not working with the shots but it was also because of April. I was turning back as I saw a new shot glass knowing Nate got me another. So I grabbed it and was about to drink it when i heard a voice. 
    So I turned around looking at the voice as I saw Sandra lightly singing one step at a time by Jordan sparks.
    I could not help but watch her blushing, as my hand held the shot glass that was still on the counter.
     Her voice was so gentle yet so much emission was being heard in her voice, as i smiled a little. ' Wow'
    Then I saw Nate and asked. " is she new here?"
   " No she use to work in the day time... but know that she is getting divorced she has to work 24/7." He said as he cleaned the counter. " Why?"
    Nate then looked at me then to her. " She as two kids."
   As I thought that I heard some one come in the bar. I looked at the door, seeing a man that looked mad as he looked around as if looking for some one.
   " Nate should we worry about this guy?" I asked as Nate came over and looked as worry came all over his face as he went over to the man. " Brad your not allowed here any more... you need to go."
    As Sandra finished her song Nate placed as hand on Brads shoulder, but Brad pulled Nates hand away from him and pushed him making Nate fall on the ground.
   I got up and grabbed my staff that I placed on the side of the counter. But I then saw Sandra coming over at the man. " what do you want Brad?"
    He came closer to Sandra as he got papers, throwing them at her. " stop sending this divorce papers to me!"
    " Your the one that wanted the divorce so you have to sign them!" She yelled back as he grabbed her arm.
   That made me mad as i went over fast, with my staff as I saw him about to punch her. So I grabbed the fist as Brad looked confused. I then used my staff and hit his hand hard, as that made him let Sandra go.
    I got her behind me as I said. " Hey pale! You are not welcomed here!"
   I then saw Brad as he got his hand I to a fist again, and tried to hit me but I grabbed his fist hard as he started yelling in pain, i then pulled him to his side on the ground.
     I got my hand to my side so as I moved sandra did to, as she still standing behind me.
    I swirled my staff once and got on on my shoulder on the back on my neck, as I got my arms handing on the staff so if he attacked again I would hit him on the face." Leave..."
    Brad came over infront of me as I lowered my head a little so he could not really see me. " You better watch your back buddy..."
   He then started off to the door leaving. I then let out a sign and went to the counter getting my staff back, then helped Nate. " thanks Donnie."
    Then as soon as I got Nate up Sandra came out of no where and hugged me, i froze and blushed. " Thank you so much Donatello!"
    As she pulled away I could not help but put a hand on the back of my head and smiled. " it was nothing."
    I then saw Sandra got to Nate as she spoke. " I need to head home. "
    As Nate gave her, her bag I came over as I asked her a question. " Can I walk you home? With what just happened I don't want you to run into him again..."
   I saw her think then smiled as she looked as me. " I would love you to."
    I smiled and went to Nate, paying my shots then grabbed my staff as Sandra was already at the door.
   As soon as we where out and I followed her, as she lead me to the way of her home. When we walked I wanted to speak so I asked a question as I got to her side. " If it's okay for me to asking... how long where you two together?"
    She looked at me as she put in a smile, in witch I knew was a fake. " almost 7 years... but he wanted to be with more then one woman to keep him company in his bed..."
    I looked down feeling sad for asking so I changed the subject." I heard from Nate you have two kids."
    She smiked and pulled out her phone, as she showed me a picture of her two kids.
    " their names are Matt and Samantha. Matt is 12 and Samantha will be 5 in a few months."
   I looked at Matt as he had short brown hair, with dark brown eyes as he was holding his little sister smiling. Samantha was smilimg as well as she had long blond hair down curly, with blue eyes just like Sandras.
    " They look like great kids." I said as i looked at her, when she put her phone back to her bag. " They really are. I am blessed to have them."
    Then Sandra looked at me as she pointed to the apartments across the street. " this is my place. I can walk from here... thanks again Donatello... for everything. "
   I smiled and nod as she then went off, waving at me as the light to the walking sign came on.
    Once I waved I then turned to walk back home, when thoughts came to my head as I wondered if I was going to see her every again.
